In 1994 I started a project called Aggiornamento, literally meaning "bringing up to date," It also embodies a spirit of change,openness,open-mindedness and modernity. The purpose of the project was to describe the opportunities of the World Wide Web for education. This blog informed you on my experiences as an observant participator in Second Life. Since I ve finished my report on SL I have decided to continue on writing about educational initiatives that inspire me.

Helicon Campus 130/204/26
Helicon Campus has opened an island for educational purposes. Students will work on the creation of a skeleton of a horse as a starter project. Amber has spent $300 to obtain several useful items for learning and teaching, has a $9.95 fee per month for her premium account and pays an annual educational- fee of $837.50. She spends a half-time job on the island for development and coaching her colleagues, the cost of that will differ per country or state.
