In 1994 I started a project called Aggiornamento, literally meaning "bringing up to date," It also embodies a spirit of change,openness,open-mindedness and modernity.The purpose of the project was to describe the opportunities of the World Wide Web for education. This blog informed you on my experiences as an observant participator in Second Life. Since I ve finished my report on SL I have decided to continue on writing about educational initiatives that inspire me.

Announcing the Virtual Game Jam in Second LifeThe Virtual Game Jam will take place in Second Life on TC Educator Island starting at 12 p.m. EST on Saturday, April 21 and ending on Sunday, April 22, when participants share their work at 1 p.m. EST (10 a.m.PST). The Virtual Game Jam is an opportunity for game developers (professional, hobby, or aspiring) to gather for 24 hours and create games in Second Life. It is open to developers of any skill level and any location. Oh, and you should have an account with Second Life by the time the game jam begins.
