Using Ctrl-Alt-M you can start Mouse-moves-Sun in the SL client. When in that mode mouselook will enable you to manipulate the sun in SL. Once you go out of mouselook the control will stop, so to make a picture with the sun in the right angle or colour use ctrl-' to make a snapshot. Did it all in Helios, where else would one find a better place. Big waterfall there too.
